Dave
Dave became President of the Club in 2024. He started bonsai in 2020, and hasn’t put it down since! Click here to read his inaugural address to the club.
Alex
Alex was club president from 2022 to 2024. He is a graduate of Bonsai West’s School of Bonsai and has displayed one of his trees at Mid-Atlantic.
Joe
Joe was president of the club for 4 years. He is a graduate from the Kaiku and Bonsai West’s School of Bonsai. When he’s not tending to his bonsai, you can find Joe with his grandkids, or working and teaching at Bonsai West.
Scot
Scot is a board member of the club. He is a collector of trees, and a bonsai potter. He runs a website http://www.bonsainh.com and an Instagram page @bonsainh which outline his bonsai adventures.
Marty
Marty is the Past President of the American Bonsai Society. He is a longtime member of the club. He has had multiple trees featured in bonsai magazines, and currently has many of his trees accepted to be a permanent fixture at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston where his Austrian Pine Forest is featured outside the bonsai pavilion. Kris
Kris is the owner of Black Dodge Bonsai and is an avid collector of Larch and Eastern White Cedar. Kris is also a superb bonsai artist, and his Larch won a major award at Mid-Atlantic, and was featured on the cover of the ABS Quarterly Magazine.
